Bug with Shopify createRefund Mutation?

Sending the createRefund mutation to Shopify sometimes returns an error saying

"[{"field":null,"message":"Reference can’t be blank"}]

Our users have also been reporting seeing this when they trigger a refund directly via the Shopify Admin UI. Is there a known bug?

Can you provide an x-request-id for one or some api calls that returned this specific error? We can take a look to see what might be happening.

I just ran into the same issue with the REST API for create orders endpoint /orders//refunds.json . Here is the x-request-id: 71f83ee7-8bd3-4df6-b053-f5a1191b9220

Can you advise what the issue is?
