Hi everyone,

I run a small dev shop and we are building a Shopify App for merchants who sell custom-cut materials (lumber, fabric, tubing, etc.).

We noticed many of you have to export orders to Excel or use external software like CutList Plus to figure out how to cut your stock efficiently.

We are building a plugin that:

  1. Takes your Shopify Orders automatically.

  2. Calculates the optimal cuts to minimize waste (bin packing logic).

  3. Prints a ‘Cut Ticket’ for your warehouse team instantly.

We are looking for 5 shops to test the beta version next month (free for testers).

Question: Is this something you’d actually use, or is your current Excel sheet good enough?
