Building a premium streetwear brand- need real feedback before i scale (Kash Era)

I just launched my clothing brand KASH ERA and I’m getting ready for my first official drop.

The focus is premium streetwear, clean designs, embroidery, rhinestone detailing, and a luxury feel without looking overdone.

Right now I’m:

  • Setting up my Shopify store

  • Preparing a 3-color set drop (navy, red, emerald)

  • Testing marketing before I go all in

I’ve already made my first few sales, but I want to build this the right way and not rush it.

:backhand_index_pointing_right: I’d really appreciate honest feedback:

  • Does the brand feel premium or basic?

  • What would make you trust a new brand?

  • What would actually make you buy?

  • What am I missing?

Here’s my store: Kash Era | Premium Streetwear- Pressure In Every Piece – Kash Era Apparel

I’m trying to build something long-term, not just sell clothes.

Hello Kashera, if you are truly building a longterm project there are something you need to put in place, such like building trust and visibilty

Checked the store. The products themselves look solid - matching sets in 3 strong colors, $100 price point, the Kash Era logo is clean. But there are some things holding you back from feeling “premium.”

Your homepage hero is a city bridge video. Someone landing on your store for the first time has no idea you sell streetwear until they scroll past it. First 3 seconds matter. Put your clothes front and center, ideally someone wearing them. That video should be replaced with either product shots or a lookbook-style clip.

The logo on the homepage is broken too. It’s showing “[Logo]” as plain text instead of the actual image. Small thing but it chips away at trust fast when someone’s about to spend $100.

Also that date/time stamp showing on the hero (“4/1/2026 5:55 AM”) looks like a countdown timer that’s misconfigured. Double check your theme settings.

The product photos are clean flat lays but for $100 streetwear you really need on-body shots. Nobody buys premium clothes without seeing how they look on a real person. Even one photo per product of someone wearing the set would change things.

Two quick wins before you scale: get a custom domain (the .myshopify.com URL makes it look unfinished) and add a size chart since you’re selling sets and fit is everything.

What’s the embroidery and rhinestone detailing like up close? Your post mentioned that but I didn’t see close-up shots on the product pages.

Yea definitely could need the help

Appreciate the feedback

I run a store too, and honestly you’re on the right path asking for feedback before scaling most people don’t.

The brand itself doesn’t feel basic to me. The idea and pricing actually make sense for “premium streetwear.” But if I’m being real, the store doesn’t fully feel premium yet more like it’s almost there.

For me, it’s mostly the presentation. I’d want to see on-body shots and close-ups of the details you mentioned (embroidery, rhinestones). That’s the kind of stuff that makes people justify the price.

Also small things matter more than we think like the homepage visuals and overall polish. That’s usually what builds trust when someone’s seeing a new brand for the first time.

You’ve already made sales, which is a good sign. I’d just tighten the store experience a bit before putting more money into marketing.

You’re close though :+1:

Heres my thought. like lumine said, you need a professional domain. this has been mention many many times over and over on the forums here.

  1. You have no contact, about, etc. Website already looks shady. No one knows who you are. To me you can be one of those print on demand shops with no inventory or a scammer.

  2. Not a fan of the homepage, why do I need to click a button to enter? makes no sense.

  3. Not a fan of the spinning logo, this is not 1990. I feel like im traveling back in time then feeling the website is luxury.

  4. If your selling “Premium” line, look at other “Premium” websites and do some homework. The black background doesn’t make it feel luxury. There is a reason why luxury brands use warm/bright backgrounds (unless its like a bright/dark theme) Go take a look at brands like LV, Hermes, Jimmy Choo, etc etc.

  5. Get to know your compeition and learn from there success and where they fail. Thats how you earn your piece of the pie.

  6. If this is the best BRANDINGHEAVEN can do for your website, maybe its time let them go.

Good Luck.

If we need help we can definitely

be of help

Starting slow is usually the best approach. Focus on building social proof early on, as that is what really helps people trust a new brand.

I’d swap the hero video for a clean shot of someone wearing the matching set. Adding a custom domain and a size chart will help the store feel ready for customers.

Hey @kashera ,

I checked out the store and I think you’re off to a solid start. The brand identity feels consistent and the matching sets with the three colorways give it a more curated feel rather than looking like a random clothing store.

If your goal is to position the brand as premium I think the biggest opportunity is the first impression. I’d put the apparel front and center with high quality lifestyle photography or a short lookbook style video so visitors immediately connect the brand with the clothing.

I’d also add more reasons to trust a new brand such as:

A short brand story explaining what Kash Era stands for.
More close up photos of the embroidery and rhinestone detailing.
Fabric, fit and quality details that help justify the premium price point.
Clear shipping and return information that’s easy to find.

Personally what would make me buy from a new clothing brand is confidence in the product quality. Seeing detailed product photos, customer photos or reviews over time, and knowing exactly what makes the garments different from other streetwear brands would go a long way.

Overall I think the foundation is there. With stronger storytelling and more trust building elements, the store will feel much closer to the premium experience you’re aiming for.

Thank You !
