Dear Shopify,
We are keen to explore your platform to create a website for a browsing training catalogue (without any sales required). We have attached our technical requirements below. The features have been categorised as Must-haves and Nice-to-haves. Please advise if your platform is able to meet our needs. Thank you!
Must-Haves
- Platform does not claim ownership of our uploaded content
Visitors to our website do not need to sign up for any account to access our website, or to use wishlist (bookmark) or shopping cart. - Able to use 2 different filters within the same website. Each filter option should be able to drop down to 10 different items.
- Items (e.g. products) must be searchable via categories, subcategories, filters, key word and search bar. Specifically,
- Products able to be categorized into 8 main categories and 50 sub-categories.
- Visitors can shortlist items (e.g. products) and place them into a personalized wishlist / cart and be able to revisit these items in the future.
- Platform must be web responsive, able to resize according to different mobile devices.
Nice-to-have
- Users having to create an account with the website. They should also be able to use the shopping cart feature to share what they have selected via whatsapp or email.
- Wishlist/cart must be shareable via whatsapp or email
- Uploading of items (e.g products must be able to do done via bulk excel import
