CBP suspended the de minimis exemption by regulation on June 24, 2026 — all
modes, mail included. The practical effect for a lot of stores is that
shipments that used to clear under $800 with a manifest description now go
through a formal entry process, and the fields that entry needs — HS code,
country of origin, weight — are often blank in the product catalog because
nothing ever forced them to be filled in.
I built Origova to find those gaps. It scans your full catalog and every
variant, shows you exactly which products are missing HS code, country of
origin, weight, material or description, and fixes them in bulk with a
one-click undo on any batch.
The scan is free and unlimited — you can see your whole picture without
paying. Free plan fixes up to 20 products; paid plans start at $12/month if
you need to fix more than that.
Separately: I’ve spent the last month deep in 19 CFR 128.21 and 134.1 for
this, so if anyone has a classification or origin-marking question, ask it
here and I’ll answer it whether or not you ever install anything.
