I am experiencing difficulties while using the bulk edit feature to add products to available channels in my Shopify store. I will describe the issue I am facing in more detail below:
I have tried adding products to my store by following these steps:
- Upload the products to the backend.
- Select the products I want to activate.
- Click on “Add available channels.”
When I follow these steps, it appears that the products have been correctly added to the sales channels. However, when checking their availability, I encounter 404 errors on the product links, and the products do not appear in the “collections/all” section, as the product links yield the 404 error.
Subsequently, I removed these products and re-uploaded them. This time, I decided to individually add them to the sales channels instead of using the bulk edit feature. By doing so, the products became available correctly.
This issue suggests that there is an error in the “Add available channels” bulk edit tool (I am not aware of other issues with other bulk edit tools). Since I regularly use this feature in my business, it is crucial to resolve this inconvenience as soon as possible, as manually editing the products one by one each day is unfeasible.
