Bulk Editor No Longer Loads All Selected Items

Hi everyone,

I’ve noticed a recent issue with Shopify’s bulk editing tool — it no longer loads all of the selected items into the editor.

Here’s what’s happening:

· When I select products from multiple searches or pages, only the last item selected actually loads into the bulk editor.

· If all selected products are from the same search page, then everything loads correctly.

· This used to work fine before — I could gather products from different searches and edit them all at once.

I’ve tried refreshing, clearing cache, and testing in different browsers (Chrome and Firefox), but the behaviour is the same.

Is anyone else running into this? Is this a recent change to how the bulk editor works, or possibly a bug?
This feature is really important for managing large inventories, so any help or clarification would be appreciated.

This may be a bug or a recent limitation. I recommend submitting a ticket to Shopify Support. Meanwhile, you can try a few workarounds:

  • Use a single filtered view, then “Select all results.”

  • Edit in smaller batches (50–200 items).

  • Use CSV export/import for major edits.

  • Consider third-party bulk editing tools.
