Would like to stream line price changes. Need to change cost, price and compare at price for many items. Are there apps that can help with this? Other suggestions?

Please take a look at Super Sheet, https://apps.shopify.com/super-sheet - it should be able to do what you’re asking for and it’s free to install so you can see if it fits your requirements.
To use in this case, you could first change all instances of prices, like in the screenshot below, and then do the same for compare at prices. If you need to limit the search, you can add more conditions with the AND button. Hope this helps!

It allows changing price and compare-at-price in a bulk.
