we plan to Upload pictures of products with a CSV File. When uploading them, is it also possible to assign them to their respective product so they show up as product pictures (not in the files with other pictures)? The products are created via plentymarkets, so these will not be uploaded themselves.

Products will be add by using a CSV file, It has product images URL too. Only the product pictures will not be added via CSV file.
@oscprofessional Thank you that is very helpful. I kind of have the same problem for product descriptions, which I also asked a question about in Detail here.

The description will also upload via CSV.
Go through the product section in the admin panel and check on the left-hand side and download a sample CSV file. you will understand.
Right now what do you have for shopify store product?
@oscprofessional In terms of description, I specifically mean content which automatically gets placed in an accordeon menu or a module of a theme (via metafields) for example. At the moment we only get the Bullet points below the product title automatically. You mean the template attached? I am not the admin, so I maybe cannot see it.
The products (and some of the pictures we don’t want to use) were imported by our ERP System,
