Our bundle app, BYOB, allows customers to checkout as 1 virtual product. When the customers build bundles, new variants are created. When the order is paid, the individual items are added to the order. I am not sure if it can fulfill your needs.
Not sure if you found a solution for this or not yet?
If not, it sounds like something Bundle Builder could help with!
Bundle Builder will allow you to set up a custom bundle page which you can add a selection of your products to and will then allow you to create a rule to limit the amount of products a customer can purchase within the bundle.
The single SKU bundle type will also allow you to have a unique SKU code for the bundle as a whole. For the customer, the experience is that they choose a selection of products but at the checkout they purchase the bundle as one product. The individual items within the bundle would still of course be deducted from the inventory any time a bundle is sold.
If you are interested in learning more you can download the app via the below link and request a free onboarding call, where you will learn all the in’s and out’s of how to create a bundle.
Simple Bundles can easily help you with your bundle requirement. With our single-sku bundles, during fulfillment, the bundle product and all of its parts are identifiable by a single SKU. So the idea is after the customer purchases the bundle, they’ll only see the bundle product and not the individual products that makes up the bundle and only the inventory of the bundle contents will be adjusted or decremented by the quantity in the bundle.
