Hi,
I added two products in the bundles app: a body wash and a hand wash. However for each I have 2 sizes. I do not want the “mix and match” version within the variants:
Size 1 (which would have size 1 of hand wash and size 2 of body wash)
Size 2 (which would have size 2 of hand wash and size 2 of body wash)
Currently, it is allowing the customer to chose between size 1 and 2 for both.
Moreover, in this scenario: only the variants are showing up and not the product name :
Ideally I want it only one size option which would give both the products in one size. Seems like a very basic feature that should be possible.
Thanks in advance!
Hi @vritikaR
In this case, you can simply use Shopify variants to create option and use Easify Inventory Sync to manage the inventory. It ensures that when a customer selects a bundle, both products are synced to the correct size, preventing mix-and-match issues. Plus, it keeps inventory updated automatically across all variants. No coding needed. Here’s how it works:
- In Shopify, you set your body and hand wash set (as 1 product) with size variant as usual (size 1 and size 2)
2. Create a Base Product: Set up individual products (body wash size 1, body wash size 2, hand wash size 1, hand wash size 2) for inventory tracking, with a quantity representing your total inventory (e.g., 1000). This product will be a Draft and won’t be visible in the storefront.
3. Set Up Bundle Groups: Use the app to create Bundle groups that connect your individual products with your set of 2. Here’s how to set up a bundle group for your product:
- Master Product: your set
- Component Product: Body wash size 1, with the Quantity per Bundle set to 1
- Component Product: Hand wash size 1, with the Quantity per Bundle set to 1
4. Do the same with size 2
5. How It Works:
- The inventory for your set will be automatically calculated based on the single link’s inventory.
- When 1 set in size 1 is purchased, the inventory of body wash size 1 and hand wash size 1 will be both reduced by 1, total is 2. The app will then recalculate the available quantities for your set on the updated individual products inventory, ensuring accurate inventory tracking.
I hope this answer helps solve the problem. If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out to Easify anytime
no as of now i just created two different bundles with the two sizes as opposed to letting the customer chose the size within one.
