Hi there! Wonder if anyone can help… I see lots of bundle apps, but (from what I can see) not one that ticks this box. I hope to be proved wrong!

Scene:

  • I have two products: A & B

  • I sell A & B as individual products, they work standalone

  • Together they can form a system that covers a set area

Challenge:

  • I’d like to be able to create a single ‘A & B package’ that allows the customer to choose specific areas that are available, relating to whats available in the inventory. These bundles would be picked and packed on sale, rather than coming pre-packed.

A & B Bundle Pack:

Variant #1 (Cover 10m) - 10x A + 5x B = £15

Variant #2 (Cover 20m) - 20x A + 10x B = £30

Variant #3 (Cover 30m) - etc.

I am aware I can create a bundle for each size, however that is a lot of bundles and not quite as smooth as one bundle with a selection that specifies the area. Any suggestions / solutions would be much appreciated.

Hi @benwilliams85 , I believe our app Fusion Inventory will be able to help for your use case. You would just need to configure each variant to deduct the appropriate amount of “A” and “B” from your inventory.

It looks like it could work; however, you don’t offer a free trial so I can’t give it a go! I’ve installed and setup, but it’s very limited and don’t want to pay for a month if it’s not the right fit. Might be worth considering a 14-day trial period.

The Easify Inventory Sync app can simplify your inventory management by syncing stock levels between individual A and B products andA & B Bundle Pack :blush: .

For instance, if you have a bundle pack with 3 variants, you’ll need to set up a bundle group for each one.

Let’s say Variant #1 includes 10 units of Product A and 5 units of Product B. Here’s how you’d set up the bundle group for this variant:

  • Master Product: Variant #1
  • Component Products and Quantities per Bundle:
    • Product A: 10
    • Product B: 5

When someone buys Variant #1 of the A & B Bundle Pack, the app will automatically deduct 10 units of Product A and 5 units of Product B from your inventory. Moreover, the available stock of Products A and B will then determine how many units of Variant #1 you can sell.

You’ll need to create similar bundle groups for Variants #2 and #3.
