I am launching an online store on shopify. I’m in the preliminary stages and would like advice on my business address. My registered agent put my Secretary of state documents with a real street address location and my Federal EIN LLC docs with my home address. I do not want to make my home address public. Why would they use two different addresses on my docs? What address should I put on my business license? Should it be the registered agent’s address, or should I obtain a UPS address or virtual address for this purpose? Thank you for your help.
