I am testing the Business Central to Shopify connector and have a question on customer price syncing.
From my understanding only a single Business Central “Customer price group” or Customer discount group" can be synced to a standard shopify store. This pricing then applies to all items on the Shopify store irrespective of the customer on the shopify site.
In order for different customers on the Shopify store to see their specific pricing (after logging in) we would have to use the Shopify B2B system.
Is my understanding correct?
Thank you
Malcolm
Hi Malcolm,
Your understanding is correct.
Customers are created accordingly based on the your “Customer Synchronisation” options in “Shopify Shop” within BC .
By default, the “Customer Price Group” and “Customer Discount Group” are applied to all customers so to achieve what you need, yes you would need to use Shopify B2B Commerce.
Thanks
Jeremy
Hi, I know this is several months old, but I am attempting to do the same thing with our Shopify store. Can you confirm whether you found a solution short of upgrading to Shopify Plus?
Hi There
I gave up - the Shopify plus was too expensive to achieve what we wanted.
Busy with a custom webstore. Not ideal as lots of API’s to be built.
But we do have more flexibility and features.
