Business Verification Reset

I’ve set up a shopify store using the default shopify payment gateway. I’ve run into some trouble however as I’ve mistakenly used another business name when entering the information for the business. The name I’ve used does not match that of the name on the document I’ve submitted. Is there a way to reset the shopify payment information process so that I can fix this error.

Based on what you’ve described, it sounds like you’re referring to when you would have first initially set up Shopify Payments. Once you’ve provided the information needed to get Shopify Payments set up, you’re unable to manually edit the details yourself, and will need to reach out to our Authenticated Support Team to request changes to the information you provided.

You’ll want to use our Help Center to connect with us. From there, select the ‘Contact Support’ option at the bottom of the page. You will then let our AI Assistant know that you want to change some of the details related to your Shopify Payments Account, and it will get you connected with a member of our Support Team who can escalated that request for you!
