But It Now Button and the Pause and Build Plan

Hi, I am designing and site. I am on the Pause and Build plan. I can seem to do all the designing elements (that I can see), however, I can’t seem to make the Buy It Now button appear. Is this because I am on the Pause and Build plan?

Thanks for your question.

While on the Pause and Build plan you can work on creating your store without paying for full access features. In order to be able to accept orders and conduct transactions, you need to switch to a paid plan. Our most affordable pricing option for new businesses is the Basic Plan, but you can compare all of our plan tiers and features to find the right fit.

When you’re ready to pick an option, head to your Admin > Plans and Pricing to unlock checkout. Before your official launch, it’s also a good idea to go over this helpful store checklist.

Hi Olivia, Thank you for taking the time to write a reply. However, you have not directly answered my question. I knew all of this before I started this thread. However, I am asking a simple question, does being on the Pause and Build Plan disable the Buy Now button from displaying? Yes or no?.

Just to clarify, while it isn’t stated that the Buy Button channel needs a plan, you do need to subscribe to a plan in order to remove the password protection on your storefront for the Buy Buttons to pull data from your online store

Hi Olivia, based on what I have seen, when I am on the Pause and Build plan, I can remove password from store. Only thing I can’t seem to do is let customers buy stuff, which is fine.

Thanks for trying, but I still don’t know if the Pause and Build plan is stopping the Buy Now button from appearing. I suppose I will find out soon when I move to a regular plan. Thanks.

Yes it absolutely should work after choosing a plan, though please let me know here if you run into any further obstacles after doing so.
