Button link not showing on Page

I added a button in my About Us page. However, the button only appears in the theme editor but not on the Live website. I tried every way I could think of but nothing worked. Can anyone help with this?

Hey @modernthreads

Welcome to the community! Can you share the URL of your About Us page and also front end password as well (if enabled)?

Best,
Moeed

This usually happens when the About Us page is using a different template on the live theme, or the button was added only in the theme editor preview but not saved/published properly.

A few things to check:

  1. Make sure you clicked Save in the theme editor.

  2. Check if the About Us page is assigned to the same template where you added the button.

  3. If you edited a draft theme, make sure that theme is the one currently published.

  4. Clear cache / test in incognito once.

If you share the store URL or a screenshot of the page template settings, I can help you spot the issue.

Yes of course!

I have checked all of those and still not showing. Here’s the link: Our Story | MODERN THREADS – Modern Threads

Can you share a screenshot how is it looking on theme editor?

If you are really needing assistance, more information is needed so people can help.

In the meantime,

  1. Make sure you’re editing the correct theme:
Copy of Labor Day Sale, ID# 184705155354
  2. Make sure page is assigned to the correct page template.
  3. Make sure you’re saving the theme after making changes.

Hi @modernthreads

I can’t see a button anywhere on the page right now. Have you added the button in the Theme Customizer?

Best regards,

Yes, the button is added in the Theme Customizer. I have saved it and it is on the active theme, and it still isn’t showing.

Ok please share with me screenshot.

One thing not mentioned above – ensure that proper context: market / wholesale is selected when editing theme:

People often edit theme setting in some context, say “International” but then can’t see it on the storefront because they look at the “Store Default” context.

HI @modernthreads . Hope you are doing well.

This is very simple .
You should try hitting the save button in the theme editor, check if the section is visible and not hidden in the page template.

After you can check the site , in incognito mode. This will help you to see the site as it really is.
