Button that returns to the previous page but keeps scroll position.

I currently have this button that does the job well. It adds the selected product to cart and than returns to the previous page (because without it returning, it would send the customer to cart page, and i dont want that). But i would like it to return on the previous page and also keep the scroll position. How do i do that?
