Buy it now button shows on laptop, but not showing on phone…
Anyone able to assist? Thanks!
A Shopify store owner reports that their “Buy It Now” button displays correctly on desktop/laptop but fails to appear on mobile devices (tested on Safari and Chrome). Despite updating the theme (Refresh 9.0.0) and enabling dynamic checkout buttons through the theme customization settings, the issue persists on mobile.
Community responses:
Related issue: Another user reports their Buy Now button redirects to the homepage instead of checkout, working only on desktop when adding items to cart first—suggesting potential theme code conflicts.
The discrepancy between what the store owner sees versus what others can verify remains unresolved, pointing to possible caching, DNS, or device-specific rendering problems.
@ZOE20 Please share store URL.
Hi @ZOE20 ,
Thanks for reaching out here and for sharing your concern, I’d be happy to help.
If you successfully enabled dynamic buttons, and it is still not showing, then you likely need to update your theme or edit your theme code.
I know you mentioned that you are seeing the button on laptop , but I’d still like to ensure that you have added the dynamic button correctly:
If this is not working, please share your store URL so that I can see if it is working on my end. Also share the name of your theme, or if you made any recent changes to your theme file, so I can look into this further.
Feel free to reply to this thread with any questions or updates, and we can continue our conversation further!

Hi again @ZOE20 ,
Thanks for getting back!
I can also confirm that the Buy It Now button is visible for me on my desktop and mobile device. Can you ensure that you have cleared cache on browsers you test with?
If you’re still not seeing dynamic buttons after that, please reach out to our Support team through Contact Us page on this link. Then log in to your store. It will allow us to verify you as the store owner securely. Once you have successfully logged in, you should be able to reach out to a Support Advisor, and they will be able to troubleshoot further.
When I first wanted to open your store link it didn’t show your storefront. For that reason I checked your domain records and found that it has multiple A records. This means that when a customer opens your link, sometimes it may not open the storefront correctly. To avoid this please head to your domain provider settings and edit DNS records following this guide.
Hello guys, for me the buy now button just does not work . when I click on it it’s redirecting me to the home page. the only way to buy is first to add to the cart , go to the cart and pay from there and THAT works only when I am on computer on phone nothing works can someone please help with this? regards
Hi @Elkan ,
Thank you for reaching out here in the Community Forum. I understand you’re having issues with Buy Now button behavior which is not expected. It would be very helpful if you could share your store URL and advise if this is happening only with one product page or all product pages. That way I will be able to test if I can replicate the issue on my end and we’ll take it from there.
Also, in most cases, the cause for this issue is a customized theme code or an app that may interfere with your theme. The best way to establish if it’s theme related problem is to install a new version of your theme or another theme and then see if it happens to it too. If the new theme doesn’t have this problem, your current theme will need a revision. Please let me know what happens when you try to replicate the issue on a different theme.
