Are you currently using an app as a solution for this issue? Are there any limitations you are faced with because you are using an app? I’d love to hear more about why this solution isn’t working for you, as I can pass this feedback onto our development team. As mentioned in my reply, at this time, the best way to have products automatically added to a customer’s cart is through the use of a third party app.
As for notifications regarding automatic discounts in your store, have you looked into using your announcement bar at all? This is a great way to share information with your customers, as they know to look there for promotions and details regarding these promotions.
In general, we do our best to meet the needs of our merchants and other users, and we understand that sometimes additional options will be required. This is where our app developers and partners come in, as they help compliment our offerings that are available through the platform. We are constantly listening to merchant feedback, and applying this feedback. I will happily share the feedback you’ve already shared with me here with our development team.
