Buy with Prime - Multiple products adding to cart and checkout

I am currently using Shopify’s “Amazon MCF and Buy with Prime” integration.

At present, the product page includes a “Buy with Prime” button that directs customers to Amazon login and checkout. Instead, we would like to replace the standard “Add to Cart” button with a “Buy with Prime – Add to Cart” button for prime eligible products. The goal is to allow customers to add multiple items to a cart and then at the cart level proceed to Amazon login and checkout at the final step.

Please advise on how this can be achieved, or refer us to a developer who can assist with this implementation (paid).

Hi This is Vineet from Identixweb, the Shopify Development Agency.

Yes. This should be handled through the official Buy with Prime integrated cart, not by manually replacing Shopify’s Add to Cart button with a custom Amazon checkout button.

I think the integrated cart lets shoppers add Prime-eligible products and other products to the Shopify cart and check out in one transaction.

So the right setup is to map your SKUs correctly in the Amazon MCF and Buy with Prime app, enable cart building/integrated cart, and then adjust the product page UX if needed.

A developer can help with the front-end part, such as showing Prime messaging only on eligible products, adjusting button text/placement, and testing the cart flow. I

I would avoid manually custom-merging Amazon checkout into Shopify because it can cause checkout, tracking, fulfillment, and order sync issues.

Thank you for the reply. As I mentioned, we are using “MCF and Buy with Prime” app and Buy with Prime Cart says, it doesn’t support app.

How to accomplish this with coding?

Note: The Multichannel Fulfillment app for Shopify doesn’t support Buy with Prime cart.

This would definitely need some further investigation as it involves complex custom coding. Feel free to DM me and I’d be happy to take a look and help find the right solution for you!
