You can easily achieve a BOGO discount via Shopify’s native discount settings. Simply head to Discounts > Create Discount > Buy X Get Y.
To ensure it’s only provided to customers who subscribe, create the discount as a code and provide that code to your customers via your newsletter app. The way in which you will do this will depend on the newsletter app you use. You will then create the call to action as a pop up so its loud and clear to new customers. If you want to send it to current subscribers you can do that well.
Next, to ensure it only applies to products in a certain collection, make sure you only select those products when creating the discount. There is a section within the discount generator that allows for this. It displays as ‘Any items from.’ where you can then select products from a drop-down.

Shopify doesn’t allow you to Buy X, Get X Free of Your Choice But You can create a discount code from here ( https://prnt.sc/HQ4-_OJ2mKl- ) and then add an X product to buy from here ( https://prnt.sc/Q6hUQYPGTPcQ ) and then you have to choose a collection which you allow to get free from here ( https://prnt.sc/XseTSsLEB3hx ).
You must choose a collection or products cause Shopify doesn’t allow you to get products automatically.
