Can 1 Shopify Store Dropship for Another Shopify Store?

Hello!

I work for a furniture design company that has retail, trade, drop ship, and wholesale sides of the business. One company that we sell wholesale to just reached out to us about drop shipping our products. Is there a way (an app maybe?) our two stores can integrate? Ideally, any time someone placed an order on the other company’s website for one of our products, the order would appear in our feed, alerting us to dropship that item. Does anyone know if there is an app out there that would allow us to do that?

Thanks in advance!

Hey there,

I’m not sure if the other merchant just needs a way to filter the order data and then export it to an external location you can access. But if this is the case, our app EZ Exporter might be able to help with this workflow.

Our app can filter the data at the Line Item level (e.g. based on the Lineitem Vendor or Lineitem SKU field) and can generate CSV or Excel files just for the line items that matched the filter.

For example:

  1. The other merchant installs our EZ Exporter app.

  2. In our app, they can create an “Export Profile” specifically for your company where new orders will only get exported if it contains your product. The file will only contain the line items that you carry since we can filter the line items individually and each line item will be a separate row.

  3. They can schedule this to run automatically every 15 minutes and have the file sent to your FTP or SFTP server (they can also automatically send the file via email or to Dropbox, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Amazon S3 bucket).

  4. No file will get sent if new orders don’t contain any of your products.

Please note that our app is a batch exporter and the most frequent export schedule we support is every 15 minutes. So if multiple orders containing your products are placed within a 15-minute period, then multiple orders will show up in one file.

Feel free to contact us directly in case you have any questions about this.

Hi,

It sounds like you are looking for a solution that routes orders from one Shopify store to another. Do you also need product or inventory sync? Please take a look at Order Fulfillment Guru. It specializes in order routing & inventory syncing between Shopify stores. The setup takes less than 15 minutes.

Hi @LostineSean , Duoplane does exactly what you mentioned. When an order is made from your company’s store and it contains any product that is sold by your vendor(who is also on shopify), it would route the line items directly into your vendor’s Shopify backend.

The app doesn’t just work with other Shopify vendors too. It has integrations with WooCommerce, Squarespace, and SkuVault as well. If your vendor prefers the orders sent directly to their fulfillment software, integrations with Shipstation, ShipEasy, & Shippo are available too. If your dropshipping vendors are not on any of these, Duoplane can split orders that come in and send them to your vendors via email. There are also additional capabilities such as inventory syncing, shipment feed integrations, and more.

The best part, you can get a free trial before any commitment. I’d suggest doing your research to see what best suits your needs. They integrate seamlessly with BigCommerce, Magento, and Amazon too, but don’t take my word for it - check out Duoplane on the Shopify app store and read their reviews.
