Hi im dropshipping with one of my close friends im 15 and my friend is 18 he made the account and is running it but we are partners so we put that in and got an EIN and now shopify is asking for my age and my SSN, can i be verified even tho im under 18?
Shopify requires the account owner to be at least 18 years old. Since you’re 15, you personally won’t be able to verify the account with your SSN. The best option is to have your 18-year-old partner remain the primary account holder and use their information (SSN/EIN) for verification.
You can still legally run the business together by putting your partnership agreement in place outside of Shopify — but inside the platform, only one verified adult can hold the account.
