Can a staff member access my account without my login details?

Last week I stated I paid for someone to build me a SHOPIFY store and never got to activate it. Now I am on vacation and I have a little time to take care of this. The problem I mentioned was that when I first asked to get this store created, I thought I would have time to manage it, but I do not.

So I asked this person who created the store if she could manage it. So the question was could this person steal my store. Many of you replied that I must create a STAFF ACCOUNT, so I watched a video on how to do that today, and I see that this person is already listed as STAFF in my account.

Probably because she is the one who created to store in the first place.

So my new question is: Do I now have to change my own login details ???

since she is staff, I guess she can login right ???

@michelblais if your mail id have owner permission then, no one can steal your store, further please give the only required access to staff or collaborator for completion of their work. If any person have staff access or collaborator access of your store then yes then can login into your store. so for better security you can restrict their access after your work.

Ok but right now, the person who created the store is, I suppose already a “Staff” and already has access, no. I mean since she was part of Fiverr, she later gave me back the store, asked me for my email and then I had to set my own password.

But I think she still has access as Staff right ?

Because I did not do anything since the store was given to me
