So basically, what I’m trying to do is build a mystery box and say that a 100$ mystery box has 50 buys, hence 5000$. Now after keeping, say 500$ as profit, I want to send random prizes varying from 50-400$ to all 50 people. Can someone please let me know if there is an app that can do this sort of randomization or a piece of code that someone already that could maybe help me.

Sure! Our app is specifically designed to solve this. You need to define a pool of products and the picking rules from this pool, app will automatically edit any order which has mystery box as lineitem and add products from the pool as per rules defined by you to this order as separate lineitems.
