Hi,
Shopify appear to have released an update on the Customer Privacy App, the recommended solution for showing a GDPR compliant cookie banner on sites - which is a legal requirement in the UK.
This new update to the app appears to have changed the HTML structure and classes of the banner that the app adds to the storefront. Therefore every store that we have that uses this app (which is most of our stores) is now broken.
It also looks like each of the stores is broken in a completely different way, some are trying to show a popup rather a banner in the footer, some are blocking the user from clicking any other content on the page - it’s an absolute mess.
Has anyone got any more information on this? Was this a planned update or an error?
