If you want this type of discount it is built into Shopify so you don’t need an app for it. How to creates these types of discounts can be found here:

In terms of bundle apps there are 2 different types.

One type is creating custom pages in your theme and letting your buyers select different items as part of a bundle before check out. These are then added as individual order lines and a discount is applied.

Other type is creating a virtual item (normal single product) that states in contains a certain set of components. You would need to use a third party app to bundle each kit up with the relevant SKUs.

For example:

Product 1 - Bundle of SKU ABC & XYZ

Product 2 - Bundle of SKU: ABC & ZZZ

Couple of things you need to consider is fulfilment and inventory management. Our bundle app will let you connect up all your products to correct SKUs and we then update their inventory based on the component stock level. So in above example both products would update if product ABC changes.

We also have the additional option of unbundling orders made for a bundled product into the component SKUs post purchase. This way the order lines are only for components and can be fulfilled as per normal.

Currently, the app offers 4 box types, and for a quantity-tier discount scenario like this, you should use the Tiered Quantity Discount Box, since it’s specifically designed for promotions that apply different discounts at different purchase thresholds.

In the Discount & Subscription section, you simply set up the tier rules like in your screenshot. For the first tier, set Discount type to Percentage, Discount on to Quantity, then enter Minimum quantity = 2 and Percentage off = 5% to apply the “Buy 2 get 5% off” deal. Next, add a second tier with Minimum quantity = 3 and Percentage off = 10%, so the system automatically switches to the higher discount when customers buy more.

After completing the steps above, just save the box. As customers increase the quantity in the box, the app will automatically update the promotion, clearly display the discount, and apply it correctly at checkout—no extra steps needed.

Reproduce this “Buy X get Y% off” bar without app use with a small Shopify script or Liquid snippet. Add a promo banner section and apply conditional statements for discounts according to the cart’s quantities. JavaScript can change the message dynamically while customers add items to the cart.
