Hello all,

I’m looking for a good app allowing me to set-up product prices in both EUR and USD. The only apps that I’ve used would only automatically convert my EUR prices in USD prices (even sometimes with a custom rate). However this is not exactly what I need.

I’d need to be able to manually define prices for both currencies and for every product.

Can someone help me please?

Hello @NOERDEN !

From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Payments.

In the Shopify Payments section, click Manage.

In the Countries/regions section, click Add country/region.

Select the country or region that you want to support from the list of supported countries and regions.

Click Add country/region

After that you can add apps that support multi-currencies which are available on the Shopify store:

  1. Multi Currency Checkouts
  2. Auto Currency Switcher

When I go to Settings > Payments, I don’t have any Shopify Payments section. I think this is because our shop is based in France and Shopify Payments is not yet available for France.

Do you think of an alternative solution?

You can use other third-party payment options that are available in France like:

  • TransferWise

  • Stripe

  • Payoneer

I have already configured both Paypal and Stripe. But still I don’t see any options where I could add countries.

I ran into the same challenge a while back. Since your post, Shopify Markets has made it easier to set manual prices per currency — that part’s thankfully sorted now.

What’s still missing though is the ability to run market-specific discount codes in multiple currencies.
We’re using Pixoo for that — it fills the gap nicely without overcomplicating things, it lets you create multi-currency, market-targeted discounts that actually work at checkout.
