Can customer account numbers be permanent and exportable?

Do customers have “account numbers” that are permanent to their account and can be exported?

For example:

Customer 1: 0001

Customer 2: 0002

For company reporting, I’m looking for a way to quickly VLOOKUP fields in excel.
