Hello, @AlenaZiegler .
Thank you for posting this question!
It is possible for customers to login from other websites using features, like Multipass, or third-party apps for social logins. Once they’ve logged in once and it’s stored on their browser, then they’ll be able to be automatically logged in moving forward. However, since the Multipass feature is only available on Shopify Plus, and if your store is using another one of our plans, then I’d recommend checking out some social login apps instead. I’ve handpicked a few social login apps that might work best for you, please check out the following:
If you need any assistance with any of these third-party apps, then the app developers are always available to assist you. You can reach out to them directly through the contact information found in the Support section of their app pages.
I’d love to hear more about your business! What kinds of products do you sell? Which types of websites are you trying to integrate customer logins with?
Hello @Elias
Thank you so much for the detailed answer.
We are a development team from Switzerland. We do ERP systems, it is our main business. 2017 we created a Shopify-connector for our ERP and see a huge potential to continue developing in this direction. dabuflow.ch
I’m currently researching for a company (B2B), that manufactures herbal medicines and they are looking for a solution to manage their discounts for drugstores. They want to enable pharmacists to move from their private portal to the online shop. For next step they would like to organise professional education there. ceresheilmittel.ch
Additionally I did’n find an easy solution for discounts and sample delivery, maybe you can help me:
Thanks,

Hello, @AlenaZiegler .
Thank you for following up and sharing the additional context!
I’m not sure if there’s anything available that can enable pharmacists, which I assume are from various pharmacies in various regions, to move from their private portals to a single online shop as this would heavily depend on each of their systems (as well as the pharmacy companies’ decisions). However, it is possible to build private apps on Shopify, which essentially allows you to integrate with external systems using Shopify APIs.
As for sending product samples, you can create a draft order and override the prices to create an order for the samples. This way, the merchant can also fulfill the orders through Shopify. Nonetheless, this wouldn’t be something that’s automatic. Instead, you may want to explore loyalty programs that allow you to set special discounts and incentives. Alternatively, there’s a third-party app, called Product Samples; however, it looks like this app allows all customers to order the free samples.
Since the setup that you’re looking to achieve is somewhat unique, then I’d also recommend speaking to developers regarding a custom solution for your client. If you need help finding a developer, then I’d recommend taking a look at our directory of certified developers on Shopify Experts. You can post a detailed description of what you’re hoping to accomplish and the developers will reach back out to you regarding the task.
If you have any other questions on this topic, don’t hesitate to let me know!
Thanks @Elias for taking your time to give a more than detailed answer.
