Can customers log in with Shopify Lite or Starter integration?

Quite a simple question!

I’m developing a website integration of Shopify Lite / Starter and I can’t seem to find any information on a customer login area.

Does it require the ‘Online Store’ sales channel? Am I allowed to have that active if I’m using Shopify Lite / Starter?

There is so little documentation on it!

For anyone that comes across my query wondering the same thing, I’ve just had a reply from Shopify.

Basically, as the customer account login requires the ‘Online Store’ sales channel, it is not available for Shopify Lite / Starter users.
