- Hi, is there a mock up tool which works live? For example if I have a t shirt as the product, can a customer type text that then appears on the product or better still can they add an image which is then shown on the product?

I use Customall Product Personalizer https://apps.shopify.com/customall for customization on my Shopify store. It’s easy to use, has a good range of options, and the pricing is fair. Might be worth a look

I’d suggest using Easify Product Options to create a live “mockup tool” right on the product page, where customers can enter text and/or upload an image and instantly see it displayed on the product image—exactly for your “add text to the shirt” or “add an image to the shirt” use case.

We can set it up as an Option Set similar to your demo: add a Text option (for customers to enter their message), a Font option (to choose the typeface), and an Image/File Upload option (to upload a logo or image). As customers make their selections, the system will render everything onto the mockup area on the product image, so they can preview the final result before clicking Add to cart.
To enable the live preview feature exactly as you want, simply open the Image option (or the option you want to display on the mockup) in the app, go to the Product Personalizer tab, and turn on Enable live preview. From there, you can fine-tune the display position (X/Y), size (Width/Height), rotation, and choose whether customers are allowed to move or resize the image as needed.
