I have an issue with the meta title for our products. We’re a Swedish company and our standard language is in Swedish but we’ve decided to use the product titles in English because we think it looks and sounds better overall since we’re also operating towards other countries. So I’ve updated the meta titles on each product to Swedish because I’d like to have a Swedish name going towards the search engines for SEO purposes.
We first changed the meta title for over 6 months ago but it never updates and now I realised it might have to do with our product names that are in English? So is it possible to override the product title and use the meta title that we’ve manually inserted on each and every product instead?
Structured data. Also known as schema or markup, structured data defines the content of a page. For example, a review can be marked up so Google knows it’s a review. Our SEO manager Emily wrote for Search Engine Journal about the structured data to include on your store.
Content of the page. This includes product descriptions, FAQs, collections content, articles, and any text on the page. The h1 tag is one of the biggest influencers.
Titles and meta descriptions. This is what the guide is about.
