Is it possible to add a custom line_item created in liquid template to the buybutton?

I have added the custom line items already to the product via liquid.product template but would like these to be displayed when I create the buybutton.

Unfortunately it doesn’t? Only the options and variants show that are created on the product page. The extra line items in the product template don’t display.
