Can I add a special instruction box in Debut Theme checkout?

Hello,

I have chosen to use Debut Theme for my website. Does anybody know if I can add a “special instruction” box in the checkout section? I’m nearly done with the website and will be extremely disappointed if this can’t be achieved. I offer personalized products and must have an area for customers to leave specific instruction. Thanks in advance.

While you can’t edit the checkout page of your store for security and PCI compliance purposes, you can absolutely set up a custom notes section on your product page before they add the item to the cart!

There is a free app called Variant Product Options by Best that will allow you to a text box field on the product(s) that require a personalized instruction note. Your customers can fill that out and then add it to the cart.

I’m not sure how to install the app. It’s too late now to reach out to them so I’ll continue tomorrow. This is one solved solution to the many issues I’m having and it’s getting frustrating. I just want my site up and running efficiently.

Are you familiar with syncing Shopify to Facebook? I started the process and I have 80 items approved and 77 are not approved. When I click on the “view all products” in Product Status the error message reads "make sure this product is available to your Online Store and isn’t password protected. I then click on “Edit Product” and in the Sales Channel section my Online Shop is “green” but Facebook is an open circle. I’m not quite sure where to make any updates.

UGH! I should have opened an Etsy shop instead. Shopify is NOT as easy as people say it is!!! I’m about to through in the towel.
