Shopify charges for the app

I don’t want to use Shopify’s charging API. Can I add a third-party payment platform to my app for charging

If you’re not using Shopify Payments, you can choose from over 100 other credit card payment providers and take payments from all over the world.

How do I set up a third-party payment on Shopify?

  1. Under Store settings, tap Payments.
  2. In the Third-party provider’s section, click Choose third-party provider. Note.
  3. Select the provider that you want to use from the list.
  4. Enter your account credentials for the provider that you selected.
  5. Click Activate.

I’m not a merchant, I’m a Shopify app developer;

I wanted to charge merchants through my system, not through Shopify’s charging API

Is this in accordance with Shopify’s rules
