Great question! The Starter plan does not support product collections, as the browsing experience is meant to be a very simplified version of an online store. So for merchants that want collections, we would normally recommend the Basic Plan.
What kind of store is your client looking to build, and have you checked with Squarespace to ensure that you can, in fact, successfully embed Shopify Buy buttons onto their platform?
