Can I alter the handle of collections on my ecommerce site?

Is it possible to change

someurl.com/collections/product

to something like

someurl.com/photo-collections/product ?

I dont want to redirect.. but “change” collection to photo-collections

Hello @mattloeff , in Shopify at the moment we can’t edit or change the default pages, like ‘cart/’, ‘checkout/’ etc.

So, it’s better to create a new page named ‘photo-collection’. If you’re using any theme which supports Online Store 2.0, you can easily add any section of your theme on this page.

At this time the standard architecture of the site navigation can’t be changed. The core URLs like /collections, /pages, /products, /blogs, can’t be changed.

I will happily share the request with our developers for consideration though and hopefully this is a feature we can add in the future.
