Can I apply the Minimal theme header style to my Debut theme?

Hi

Is it at all possible to have the Minimal theme header style on my Debut theme? Is there code that could change it on my Debut theme? I love that style but I’ve done too much work on my Debut theme now to just switch over.

Hyde here from Shopify.

Minimal and Debut are separate themes with distinct features, and those features cannot be transferred from one theme to another.

That said, if you wanted to explain to me what it is you’re looking for in the header and what it is you prefer about the Minimal menu, I’d love to be able to help you if I can.

Do bear in mind that we have some fantastic documentation for each theme too that will empower you to get the best and the most from whatever theme you’re using!

Hi

Thanks Hyde but I have since decided to move over to the Minimal theme. There is however something you may be able to help me with. The Rich Text section puts the header to the left of the screen I would like it centred. Also on my pages the header is to the left, I would also like this centralised if possible.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you! Great that you opted for the Minimal theme, and I can see that you have since centered the header, which is great!

I know you’re still in the build process, so I hope you don’t mind me making a couple of other minor suggestions just from casting a quick look at your store as it is:

  1. When I was on your store I noticed you didn’t have your favicon set up. This is a really cool feature and it makes the page look a lot more trustworthy and professional. The favicon is the little logo you see in the tabs on your browser.

You can add your own logo to your store in the theme editor by going to Theme settings > Favicon here:
