It is possible to set up subscriptions on Shopify using one of the subscription apps. You can use one of these in combination with an app like Locksmith, to help you keep the blog content behind a login for subscribers. However, subscriptions currently only support the Online Store or Custom Storefront sales channels, meaning this wouldn’t work for an external website.
Shopify’s Online Store sales channel includes a blog feature, so that’s something to consider if you’re interested in migrating your blog to Shopify. If you’re sticking with your current website, you’ll need to look for subscription apps that are built for that platform.
