Can I create a custom navigation button to a specific collection?

On my home page, I have a collection list -lets say- collection a, b, c.

Shopify outputs an image and title to each collection. The image, and title link to the collection in question. For example, if I click on Collection A, I’m navigated to Collection A.

I want to add my own way to get to collection A. For example, take control of the collection-list.liquid and add my own button that goes to whatever collection I want. Can this be done?
