I am looking to make a range slider for numerical metafields that work just like the price range slider. There doesn’t seem to be any default options for this but a TON of apps to do it. Unfortunately all the apps I tried did this really poorly, not at all, or make the website unbearably slow.
I’ve played around with just changing the class for the checkbox to price_range and visually I got what I was looking for, but didn’t get the function. Is this even possible without some sort of app?
We’re looking to do the same thing due to the fact we have tons of products, and filters are very important in our market to find which one to buy.
We’re currently using an app but, as you said, the site performances has dropped the day we installed it.
If anyone can help it would be really appreciate.

You can define the metafields as Number value type and use AI Search & Product filter to add filters by metafields in range slider. https://docs.sobooster.com/guide/filter/work-with-filter-group/filter-collection-using-metafields
