Hi is it possible to create a split home page with a background photo on each side and click tabs on each far end of the page to take the customers to individual pages. As well as a logo in the middle split of the page with a slogan underneath and a business name on each side of the page split.
Yes this is doable but there will have to be some customizations likely but nothing too complex.

and can you provide a mockup / sketch of your ideal layout, or a link to a website that is doing something similar? Just so we can visualize the idea better.

Yes, It’s possible by doing custom coding, it’s more easy if you share any UI.
Really the theme would depend on your overall ideal layout and functions.
the free themes are good for basic stores and especially if you’re starting out and want to test things with a lower budget.

I have not seen a theme like that on the Shopify store yet. It looks like it will require some coding customization.
A developer won’t be able to help much until you decide on a theme, as each theme has different code.

I don’t think so I just would like the tabs to take you to each
individual page when clicked on .Would I be able to have one large photo
and just have the tabs on each side and they be functional ?
Yep! A good developer would be able to get alot of your ideas to coke to life. You’d want to make sure they have a good understanding of Shopify 2.0 and theme customization input settings.
You would be able to get them to customize the banner section or whatever the name of it would be, and add a menu list option to your theme customizer. This will let you pick the menu items without knowing how to code.
the developer can code it so that when you pick menu items they appear and go on each side. Setting up to menu lists would be good. Menu-left menu-right.

You might be lucky if one of us are available and looking to take a stab at it but you could have success finding someone on upwork or the Shopify partner platform id that’s available (I don’t remember if that’s still up or being reworked). I don’t remember if there is rules about selling services specifically on this forum.
