I was just thinking if it is possible to have 2 markets with the same sort of style / brand but with unique segments.
For example, we sell in Sweden and US, but we have a couple of different items in the US which need to have their own category.
What i can see it is possible to have different products since you can choose what market you want to sell them in, but i dont find any possibility to fix the menu so its unique per market? Same with category?
The example is:
Sweden
Selling: Phone Case + Clothes
US
Phone case + Water Bottles + Other
The brand is in the bottom the same, but with different segment.
Or is the only option to open another store with double the fee?
The default Dawn theme from Shopify has this built in. Other themes on the theme store also have country selectors built in, but you may need to ask the theme developer if you want to adjust the placement.
@coleatkinson the video from you was helpful. However in our case the inside the customiser when we switch to a different market other than the default one, the menu page section on the left side of the screen is disabled and we cannot access those section. We currently blocked at this place from making new navigation items visible for different markets. Can you guide us to fix this issue at our end. I’m going to add images for your reference of what I see in our theme customiser. Any help here would be much appreciated.
Note: We are using the dawn theme for our UI layouts.
I’ve encountered a similar issue in my store. When trying to customize navigation items specific to different markets, I’ve noticed that many of the left-side menu options (except for those within the template) become grayed out and uneditable when a non-default market is selected. However, these menus are fully functional when the default market is chosen.
We need to be able to update and customize the navigation items based on the selected market. Is there a way to enable these options for other markets? I’ve attached some screenshots for reference.
