You can try to follow these steps:

Go to Online Store → Themes → Actions → Edit code

Go to Sections → product-template.liquid file

Insert the following code above the “Add to Cart” and “Buy It Now” buttons:

{% if product.available_for_preorder %}
  
{% endif %}

Save changes
