Can I get a refund after closing my unused account?

I hired a graphic designer to design my website. Unfortunately, she had me sign up for Shopify before she scammed me and stole all my money I paid her. I just closed my store (that I never used).

Can you please give me a refund?

I am sorry to hear about your experience; that must have been a difficult situation to navigate. In most cases, we can review a refund request so long as the store is closed within a reasonable timeframe of the invoice generating. We’d be happy to review a refund request, however, you will need to contact our Support to begin the process as we do not have access to account-specific information from the Community.

You’ll need to head to our help center, manually search your question/issue, then select “continue” at the bottom of the page that displays the search results.

I don’t understand who I can talk to about this situation. Is there anybody in customer support who can help me?

Using your search term, I was able to pull up the “Continue” button which would lead you to the support options.

If you don’t see the continue option, then I’d try searching “close my store” instead.
