Can I get a refund for a misspelled domain purchase?

I bought a domain and realized I spelt it wrong sadly :(, so I bought the proper domain which is currently being used right now. Is it possible if I can get a refund on the accidental domain, thnank you!

You can contact the support team of your domain provider in this case. Maybe they can help you out.

A domain refund may be possible depending on where you have purchased it from. If you purchased the domain from a third party provider like for example GoDaddy, then your next step would be to contact them directly and check if you are eligible for a refund.

If you have purchased the domain via Shopify, then we may be able to offer a refund for the domain, dependent on circumstances. We can usually refund if the word has been misspelled, but not if the wrong word has been used. The next best step would be to reach out to our live support via phone, chat or email here, so our team can take a look and see what we can do for you here. Simply type your query into the “ask about a topic” bar, then hit continue to support to access.
