Congrats on your new store! I can tell you have put a lot of effort into building this. Especially, there is a huge diversity of products.
However, I have some comments to improve customer engagement. Here are some of my recommendations, please kindly check.
1.Adding the Hero Banner
With just a glance over the hero banner, I can decide whether to continue exploring and engaging in a shop or not. Therefore, I recommend Hero Banner are designed with the most captivating images of your products along with your tagline (benefits offered to your customers).
2. Adding more human illustrations for the product with the comments
As a fashion consumer, I always wonder how that piece of clothing looks on me and people similar to me. Therefore, I would highly recommend adding more human illustration for your product. Also, to build consumer trust, try leveraging comments and reviews below each product:
- Create a dedicated “Customer Reviews” section below the product description, with clear spacing and a distinctive background or border color.
- Use visually engaging elements like star ratings, thumbnails of user-uploaded photos, and highlighted quotes from the best reviews.
- Add a “See All Reviews” link to give users easy access to all feedback.
3. Complete your Homepage layout and information
As a customer, I would say that your Homepage hasn’t offered enough information for me to build trust then to purchase. Therefore, I suggest the addition of Value Proposition (to differentiate your business) - Best seller Products (show their images right away instead of making customers click one more time to be redirected) - Testimonials (to build trust in customers)
4. Personalize shopping experience
To boost customer engagement, you can consider adding a “Recently Viewed Products” section to help customers easily revisit items they’ve browsed, and using a product recommendation carousel with titles like “You May Also Like” or “Complete Your Look. Also, enabling personalized product suggestions based on browsing history or cart contents.
5. Incentivize customer engagement
It would be nice to introduce a referral program where customers earn discounts or rewards for bringing in new shoppers and use loyalty programs to reward repeat customers with points redeemable for discounts or exclusive perks. Also, offer free resources or guides (e.g., “How to Style [Product]” or “Sustainability Tips”) to add value and establish your expertise.
6. Adding Live chat & FAQ
I can see that your website lacks a help widget and live chat feature to allow customers to contact you immediately. How about having a powerful live chat to assist potential customers instantly, addressing their questions or concerns in real time? This can help prevent abandonment and encourage purchases
