Our company currently has two types of business: retail, and wholesale. Our resellers benefit us by placing stocking orders, alleviating our supply chain constraints. However, some resellers opt to buy one item at a time, and have it dropshipped to the end user.
In order to discourage this behavior, we are implementing a “dropshipping fee” for all resellers that wish to drop ship their orders. In shopify, this would mean that for certain accounts(reseller accounts, denoted by their customer tags) would be charged a fee for each order that had a shipping address different than its billing address.
Is there an app(s) to do such a thing? If not, is it even possible to implement in shopify, if we were to hire a developer?
